Johnny Khoury:
Johnny is the manager of the Ebenezer Home in Haifa, Israel. Born to an Arab father and British mother in a nominally Christian home, he and his siblings, by God's grace, were brought to faith through the work of God's Spirit in a local congregation of Messianic believers. Also attending that local congregation was his future Jewish wife, Shoshana, daughter of “Haim of Haifa.” After some years of seeking God's will for his life and a number of years of study, Johnny earned an MA in Gerontology and assumed the role of manager of the Ebenezer Home, the only facility in Israel which cares for elderly believing Jews and Arabs in the Land. The scriptural mandate directing the believer’s view of the elderly is clear. Given by the Lord to Moses in Leviticus 19:32 is this clear imperative: “Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honor the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am the LORD.” Johnny and his family have given their lives for the service and honor of the white-haired saints.
