Welcome!
The mission of Hebrew Christian Fellowship is to lovingly and sensitively present the Gospel of Messiah Jesus to Jewish people directly through support of established, active ministries in the land of Israel and indirectly through the equipping of believers in local churches for effective witness to Jewish people in their circles of influence.
To accomplish this, Hebrew Christian Fellowship has affiliated with eight ministries in Israel (our Ministry Affiliates) that seek not only to evangelize Jews in the Land—and by extension, their Arab neighbors—but also, to care for, train, and nurture those Jewish and Arab brothers and sisters who have already placed their faith in the Messiah.
House of Blessing
On the site of the first century town of Magdala (home of Mary Magdalene), modern day Migdal is the location of a retreat-house, Beit Bracha (“house of blessing”), recently established, and lovingly managed, by Evangelical Anglicans. On the western shore of the Sea of Galilee, near Tiberias, the spot provides a view of the body of water that figured so prominently in the public ministry of Yeshua (Jesus) who certainly trod its soil many times.
That Jesus would begin His public ministry in this part of the Galilee region is identified by Matthew as a fulfillment of Isaiah’s prophecy:
And leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the seacoast, in the borders of Zebulun and Naphtali, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet saying, the land of Zebulun, and the land of Naphtali, by the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the nations; the people who sat in darkness saw great light, and to them who sat in the region and shadow of death, light is sprung up. (Matthew 4:13-16)
Today, the light of the glorious Gospel of Messiah Jesus is shining brighter there than at any time in the last 2,000 years. May we tell you more?
